Johnny Hope

Johnny Hope

Johnny was born and raised in Cullman County. He graduated from Hancevile High School in 1977 and attended Wallace State College. From there he work as manager in poultry with Tyson and then Con-Agra. For the past twenty years he and his wife, Donna, have been in bussiness for themselves. They own Cleaning & More, Inc and Hope Industries. Johnny and Donna have be married for twenty years. They have two sons, Daniel and Sean, a daughter-in-law, Ashley, and two gradnchildren, Charley and Colin. All of them attended the Lord’s church. Johnny is Alabama football’s biggest fan but he enjoys all sports. He enjoys spending time with his family as well as his church family. His favorite verse in the bible is Romans 8:28 “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

I have been in the heating and air conditioning business since 1977 and I have been married to my wife Sheri since 1986. We have one daughter and two grandchildren.

Mike Waters

Mike Waters

Mike has served as an evangelist with the Baldwin congregation since June of 2006. He was appointed to serve as a deacon in August of 2007. He has preached the gospel in varying capacities for over twenty years.

In addition to his work with the church at Baldwin, Mike is a practicing CPA with an office located in Cullman. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration / Accounting from Auburn University. He also holds a master’s degree in Accounting & Information Systems from Middle Tennessee State University.

Mike enjoys spending time with his wife of twenty years, Paula, and his three children, Micah, Lydia, and Levi. His hobbies include riding his street bike with his wife, riding dirt bikes and ATVs with his children, playing drums, exercising, and reading.

Blake West

Blake was raised on a farm in western Cullman County. He graduated from West Point High School, Auburn University and Birmingham School of Law. He practices law in the area of Estate Planning with offices in Cullman and Huntsville.

Blake and Darla, his wife, are and have been active on many charity boards: Relay For Life, CRMC Foundation, Logan Preservation Board, Farm-City Board, Pilot Club, Flourish of Cullman, Brooks’ Place, Cullman City Schools Foundation and Circle of Hope.

Blake and Darla have one son, Brooks. They have been attending Baldwin since 2006.

Randy Whittemore

Randy Whittemore

Randy is originally from Nacogdoches, Texas. He has worked in the meat industry for the past 30+ years. He is currently an Executive Account Manager for Certified Angus Beef in the Southeast. Randy and his wife Angela have three children; Clay, Caley, and Caleb. He has been a member of the Baldwin church since 2003.
Matt Williams

Matt Williams

Matt is a graduate of Vinemont High School, Athens State University, and possesses a Master’s degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, which includes a graduate-level certification in Technical Writing. He works for Space Systems in Huntsville. Matt’s wife, Amanda, is an educator for the Cullman County school system. Matt and Amanda have three children – Fuller, Evie, and Elliott. Matt became a Christian in 1994 and has attended the Baldwin congregation since its inception. He has been serving as a deacon since 2016. In his free time, Matt likes to read, hike, camp, play guitar, and hang out with his family.
